Nancy Laing has been involved in the film and television industry for over sixteen years, producing feature films, television movies, documentaries and factual series for international markets.
Movie credits include: Co-Executive Producer on The Secret of the Nutcracker a television movie for CBC; Producer of Chicks with Sticks a made-for-television feature for TMN The Movie Network, Movie Central, A-Channel and W Network; Line Producer for Burn: The Robert Wraight Story, a made for television movie for CTV; and Producer of Jet Boy a feature film with distribution from Remstar, and Eagle Pictures in Italy and licenses from TMN The Movie Network, Movie Central and A-Channel.
Factual programming credits include: Executive Producer of Cure for Love, a one hour documentary co-production with the National Film Board of Canada; Senior Producer of 39 episodes of the award winning life-style series Fixing Dinner for Food Network Canada; and Executive Producer of Viva Bengali, a one hour documentary for A-Channel.
In addition to producing, Nancy has specialized in Business Affairs for the film and television industry. Her clients include Joe Media Group (overseeing over 50 hours of programming in most genres including movies, documentaries, performance programming and factual series); Certain Films (overseeing the development of 2 feature films, a dramatic television pilot, and a theatrical documentary); Minds Eye (filing final reports on an international coproduction of a children’s anthology series); and Illusions Entertainment (managing the business affairs for the financing of the Italian-Canadian coproduction mini-series Almost America, as well as six other feature films).
Nancy has taught producing courses at both Red Deer College and NAIT, (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) and is a past President of Women in Film and Television – Alberta.

Upon graduating with a BA in Communications in 2006, Juan worked as a production coordinator, and director on commercial, corporate, film and television projects.
Juan met Nancy Laing in 2007, while working for Joe Media Group Inc. There, Nancy and Juan worked together in the Business Affairs and Development departments and realized they share similar creative and career aspirations. They have since found a common vision within Earth to Sky Pictures: to make the very best creative content possible and continue to expand the limits of storytelling.
Juan believes in building lasting working relationships within the local production community, and is proud to have ongoing professional affiliations with Joe Media Group, the Banff Centre, the Loose Moose Theatre, the ScienceBear Comedy Troupe and the Calgary International Film Festival.

Paola came to Calgary four years ago to work as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. She always had a strong desire to be involved in the film industry and once she realized that her business and management skills could be very useful in the producing world, she decided to pursue her dream. She was lucky to find many talented filmmakers from Alberta who trusted her work as production manager and/ or producer on 13 independent projects short films in the last 3 years.
Paola is very proud and excited about being part of a growing production company like Earth to Sky Pictures. She plans to continue to help artists tell their stories; touch people’s lives as a producer; and set trends in film and television production.

Christina Willings
Producer/Writer/Director
In a varied career spanning 14 years, Christina co-founded Earth to Sky Pictures in 2001, and has emerged as a respected Canadian Writer, Producer and Director.
A former print editor, a non-fiction author, poet, journalist, art director and musician, she brings great depth of insight and expertise to her work in film and television. Christina's independent credits include award-winners such as the made-for-television feature Chicks With Sticks, the motivational series Pushing the Limit as well as Viva Bengali for City TV and Blunt, a pilot script for a one-hour drama series about young offenders.
In 2008 Christina wrote, produced and co-directed Cure For Love, a critically acclaimed documentary, co-produced with the National Film Board of Canada in association with Global Television, which continues to screen at festivals around the world. More recently, Christina has lead the business affairs department at Pyramid Productions, one of the most prolific television productions houses in Canada, and emerged both as show-runner for the popular, prime-time documentary/magazine hybrid series Inside Hollywood, and writer for the prime-time entertainment series, Whatever happened to? Christina is currently serving a second two-year term as Member of the Board of the Alberta Film and Television Industries Association.
